GLOBAL WINDSURFING DAY

Greece will be staging two events on the 7^th of October in support of the Global Windsurfing Day. One venue will be the Karavi windsurf club, right next to the historical Olympic town o Marathon and the other will be the Stonero windsurf club at lake Volvi. Both sites are favorite beaches for the Greek windsurfing community and every year many races and other windsurfing are happening in these locations.

7^th OCTOBER SCHEDULE

11:30	1st Group photo session
12:00 - 13:00	One more race
13:00 - 14:00	On camera interviews
14:00 - 15:00	Lunch break
15:00 - 17:00	Teams of 4 match racing
17:00 - 18:00	Other windsurfing games
18:00	Closing ceremony
18:30	2nd Group photo session

We are expecting more than 200 windsurfers and we’ll produce a top quality professional video with comments from many windsurfers and international Greek champions.
Photos, video, petitions and any other material will be send to you right after the event.
Could you please send us the GWD logo in high resolution and any other info and guidelines about this special day.

3S boards & skis Magazine and Events is in the process of staging a national event for this special day aiming to have as many windsurfers as possible in the water. -Two years ago we’ve gotten the “most windsurfers in the water” award from the International Windsurfing Week organization, so this time we’ll be aiming for a new record!-

For  October   we will  host the  2012  RS:X  Youth Worlds .  There will  be  teams in  Taiwan  training  in  October and  we could have a fun event  -- Long Distance   - on the   7th or there about.

IN addition to the  RSX worlds,  we have  our 2 main  Taiwan  High Wind  Slalom  Contests -   either  way we will  for sure  get  pics and  attendance  Numbers for the   event -  It would be  good to have stickers for the  sails-- is anyone mass printing  these - I can get them  printed for   Taiwan  here.   Even a  Flag or  Banner   that  can be put in the  pictures  with all the  attending  windsurfers  so that  it shows it is not a STOCK  picture   but really as pat of the  event.  What do you think -   one off banners are also   cheap here -  just need the Artwork so that  it is  all consistent.

Programme in the netherlands in progress

The Real Trip a yearly event can be the kickoff. So is the Regio Cup zuid and the Techno Talent Trofee on september 29.
In the Netherlands, Aalsmeer is on GWD de Grote Prijs van Aalsmeer.

In Almere they do extra work on the weekly trainings evening.
